Yahoo Local Bulk Listing Discontinued

Textured Wall Wide Yahoo

A Local Search Forum thread has local SEOs claiming that Yahoo is no longer accepting or offering the local bulk listings services. Instead, these local SEOs are being told to contact LocalWorks, which is powered by Yext.

Ashwin from the forums wrote:

Just got off the phone with my Yahoo Local sales rep. I've been trying to work out a bulk upload deal of their enhanced listings the past couple of weeks and it's been slooow to say the least.

I just heard from him that they no longer support bulk listings and the only way I could work with Yahoo would be by using LocalWorks (which is Yext).

Yahoo recently announced they are discontinuing their maps service, so I guess this makes sense. It does seem like Yext is taking up more of the local listing share, outside of Google.
