This week, Google was fined a record breaking $5 billion by the EU for Android antitrust issues. Google Image search has updated their referral URLs for easier tracking. Trump got Googlebombed as an idiot in image search. Google still has some way to go to fully go mobile-first indexing. Google automatically can pick up broad site changes. Google said you should still redirect HTTP to HTTPS even with HSTS set up. Google launched structured data support for tabular datasets. Google may still add filters for voice query data in Search Analytics. Google added a new location tab to hotel local panels with location scores. Google added the average price for a specific hotel with a price chat. Google local knowledge panels now have upcoming events. Google My Business can now notify you when your listings go live. Bing Ads really wants you to make your URLs HTTPS. The Bing Webmaster Tools API is still not working. Google’s John Mueller shared his favorite SEO podcasts.
