Google Ads Sponsored Results Label Alignment Is Off (Sometimes)

Google Ads Logo Off

Google may have a bug with some of its search results formatting, where the sponsored results heading is sometimes not left-aligned. This does not seem intentional and it seems more like a formatting bug, but who knows.

For example, if you search for iPhone and look at the sponsored results label in different browsers, sometimes it is slightly not left aligned:

Google Sponsored Result Off Center

This is how it should show:

Google Sponsored Result Left

Same with this query but it is more pronounced:

Google Sponsored Result Off Center2

vs:

Google Sponsored Result Left2

It is easier to see in this GIF I made of it in action:

Google Sponsored Result Off Center

This was spotted by Sachin Patel who posted about this on X and Search Engine Watch.

Again, it seems like a bug to me...
