Google Search Console To Give More Historical Data

Three years ago, Google promised webmasters a full year of data in the Google Search Console, currently we get 90 days. But that promise has never been kept, not yet at least.

A few months ago, signs of that happening sprung up again. This is despite Google's own internal frustrations around this request.

But Gary Illyes at SMX said he knows the lead of the Google Search Console team told his team in a "very direct" manner to make it happen. So he thinks they are working on it and we will have more historical data sometime in the future.

He was very hopeful about it.

I think everyone will be happy to see more historical data in the Google Search Console, specifically Search Analytics.
