Google: AdSense Penalties Do Not Impact SEO Or Rankings

This may or may not be obvious to you but if you use Google AdSense and you were banned from AdSense, it doesn't necessarily mean your rankings in Google will be hurt.

There is no direct relationship between AdSense and your Google rankings or SEO efforts.

John Mueller from Google said so on Twitter:

Of course, if you were banned from using Google AdSense, your site may have some quality issues that may be picked up on by a search quality algorithm or a manual actions team member at Google. But AdSense does not flag the manual actions team.
