Earlier this week we reported that many of those who received a manual action for sneaky mobile redirects were unable to submit a reconsideration request. Well after some time, Google seems to have fixed the issue.

The first report of the fix came 18 hours ago at around 1:30pm EST yesterday where one with the issue wrote in the ongoing Google Webmaster Help thread "Google has solved the problem, I sent reconsideration request few minutes ago."

Since then, the others seem to all be able to submit the reconsideration requests.

No one has yet to confirm their that their reconsideration requests have been approved and their manual actions have been reversed but often, it can take a few days for you to hear back on that. I do wonder if Google will expedite these specific reconsideration requests or not. I think they should.
