Bing Malware Notifications Correct?

New Bing LogoRecently, Bing updated their safety page to bolster the features and make for a better, more secure web. But some are complaining that Bing is "overdoing it" with their malware detection and notifications.

A WebmasterWorld thread has a complaint from one webmaster who wrote:

I've got a couple sites flagged as malware, and there is no malware. Seems like lately they've stepped things up too much. Even a couple of my Google Adsense ads were flagged as Malware. And those ads are suppose to be monitored strictly.

Once I ask to re-evaluate....it passes.

Something they've done the last couple weeks, is overdoing it with their detection of false positives.

Truth is, every single month, I get an email from Bing Webmaster Tools claiming my personal blog, which I rarely update anymore, has malware on it. But if I log into Bing Webmaster Tools or Google Webmaster Tools, but say the site is clean and free of any malware.

Here is the email from Bing I get monthly:

As you can see, a little 1 next to the malware.

Then logging into Bing Webmaster Tools does not show any issues.

Nor does Google:

This has been going on for years but I think the WebmasterWorld thread has complaints about third-party ad networks, including AdSense, being flagged by Bing as malware.
