This month, we posted our monthly Google Webmaster Report, so catch up there. Google began the second batch of mobile-first indexing, and sent out notices to those sites as well. The thing is, Google is moving over many sites that are desktop only, which does make sense if you think about it. Google recipe structured data has been updated, there are many changes. Google clarified page speed is based on mobile vs desktop after July. Google says don’t change URLs when you change content, no need to do that. Google says use 404s, not 403s. Google cannot understand embedded charts and graphs. Google is testing featured snippets that expand. Google AdWords Editor has a new version with more features. Google AdWords might be testing response search ads beta. Google My Business released new APIs, an agency dashboard and partner program. There are many Google Maps highlighted icons, here is a glossary of them. Google My Business added a clear button to the attributes section.
