  • Google Knowledge Panel With Interesting Finds
    We have seen the interesting finds section for AMP pages and other types of blocks in the Google mobile search results. But Google seems to be testing the interesting finds section in some knowledge panels on mobile search.
  • Google Ads In People Also View Carousel - A Test Or Bug?
    Valentin Pletzer posted a screen shot on Twitter of Google testing a Google Ad in the people also view carousel. We've seen a "people also considered" ad carousel feature that Google was testing but now in the "people also view" box mixed with organic results as well?
  • Google Search Console Your Site Switched To Mobile-First Indexing Notifications Causing Confusion?
    If you open Google Search Console and go to a property that has been switched to mobile-first indexing, you will get an alert slide up from the bottom right of the screen notifying you of the switch. Even if the switch happened several months ago and Google emailed you about it months ago, the alert will slide up.
  • Google Tests "Some Popular Queries" Feature
    Some searchers in India are noticing that when you enter a query into Google that has no matches and Google has no idea what you are looking for, Google will show you a section called "some popular queries."
  • Google Dropped Bing Discover Pages From Index But Was There Traffic Drop?
    The SEO community is buzzing about how Google seems to have removed Bing's Discover section from the Google search results index. Edd Wilson tweeted about it on July 4th and then several sites picked it up. Bing Discover is a portal on Bing.com that had a lot of Google referral traffic.
