Microsoft Soap

Microsoft Advertising will be transitioning from its SOAP to REST API and with that, on January 31, 2027, the SOAP API will be fully retired on January 31, 2027.

Microsoft wrote that they have "standardizing REST APIs as the foundation for future Microsoft Advertising API development."

(1) Customers and partners have 6 months to transition from SOAP to REST before all new features and enhancements become available only through the REST API on October 1, 2026.

(2) Existing SOAP-based integrations will continue to run during this period, with no immediate impact to current API integrations.

(3) The SOAP API will be fully deprecated on January 31, 2027.
