Google's New Logo Too Similar To Groupon's Logo

groupon vs google GAs you know, Google launched a new logo this week and it got a ton of attention, as you would imagine.

But the folks at Groupon posted on Twitter a message to Google, asking them to fork over $7 billion for using the Groupon logo.

Why $7 billion? Probably because back in 2012, Groupon rejected a $6 billion buy offer from Google - which they are still likely regretting until this day.

But is the logo so similar? I think it might be about the G part, but even there, they are pretty different.

Look at the animated GIF above, you will see the difference clearly.
