Google Algorithm Update

I am seeing new signs of yet another Google search ranking update starting late yesterday, September 4th, through today, September 5th. There is some early chatter in both the WebmasterWorld and Black Hat World forums. Those complaining about this update got hit pretty hard, so it feels pretty massive to them.

There are also some tools that are showing the change as well, not all of the tools because it might be too early for them to pick up on the changes yet. Some tools are off the scale and some tools show nothing.

It is way too soon to say what is going on, but the last Google algorithm update went unconfirmed by Google on August 29th or so.

Here is the chatter from the community:

Yesterday at around noon we got hammered down by 70%!

Massive update as I guess, Traffic down by 30-35 percent in India

Definitely there are some movements going on from the past couple of days. Patience always pays off in a good way. We might see something soon.

Guys - i noticed a major shift in my niche in the last 24 hours and also few other niches that I follow. has any body else noticed this?

Again, the chatter is limited but those complaining are seeing pretty massive drops in rankings. I will keep an eye on the chatter...

Here are the tools, not all are updated yet but keep on eye on them:
