Many users of Google Now on iOS and Android devices are surprised to see that they are not seeing their typical Google Now Cards.
Google Now Cards would show users traffic to work or home, weather, news and much more. But many Google Now users are no longer seeing those cards.
Nealem from Google confirmed the issue in a Google Web Search Help saying the team is aware of the issue that is impacting "some users." She said they are working on a fix that will restore the cards to those users.

The team is aware of a bug that is causing some users to lose access to Google Now cards. We are currently working to find a solution to the issue. I will update this thread when there's more to share. Thanks for your patience.
There is currently no estimated time for a fix but I personally got a Google Now alert about traffic to work this morning, so it did save me about 30 minutes.
