Back in February 2018 Google announced a new form of AMP Stories named "visual stories." Well, it looks like they are now live. Truth is, they may have been live for some time but I have not seen them until now. Valentin Pletzer shared he spotted it on mobile for a query on [fortnite battle royale].
Here is a screen shot, I was able to replicate what Valentin posted on Twitter:
I am not 100% sure if this is new because this was announced a very long time ago and the interface does look somewhat familiar to me.
