Google Can Now Index The Web Again

Fixed It

Yesterday we were the first to report that Google was having an issue indexing the web. Google then confirmed the issue a couple of hours later. It seemed it was resolved around 1pm ET yesterday. Google has confirmed two hours ago that it was indeed resolved.

Google has said at 1:05am EDT that this is now fully resolved:

It has been a rough couple months for Google around indexing and Google search. We has this indexing issue yesterday, in early April pages dropped out of the Google index, and it took them a few weeks to fully fix when you count in the 16-day Search Console data loss. Google had bugs with picking the correct canonical as well, also an issue with indexing Google News content, cache date issues, problems with both recipe markup and mobile friendly issues and so much more.

But this one seems to have been fully resolved - so back in business Google!
