Google Logo For Corita Kent

Today on Google.com's home page is a special logo for Corita Kent's 96th birthday. She was born on November 20, 1918 in Fort Dodge, Iowa and passed at the age of 67 on September 18, 1986.

She is most well known for art in the form of with silkscreen and serigraphy, helping establish fine art. She was also a nun and teacher, who has helped countless people. She also designed the 1985 USPS annual "love" stamp.

Her real name was Frances Elizabeth Kent and also went by Sister Mary Corita Kent.
