John Mueller has one of his Google lines again, he said in response to someone trying to pick the right answer for an SEO question - he said, "Sometimes there is no absolute right answer -- but you can choose one, and make it the right answer."

This was posted on LinkedIn in response to should you expand a current page's content or break the content into another page, because it is unique on its own.

The question was from Christopher Iwundu:

I found an existing article that clearly needs expansion, but there’s a sub-intent within the topic that I believe deserves to stand on its own.

So, do I expand the existing article to include the sub-intent or create a supporting article and connect the two?

And John Mueller from Google responded:

Sometimes there is no absolute right answer -- but you can choose one, and make it the right answer.
