Google Analytics Actively Working On Spam Issue

Since 2015, we have been reporting about referrer spam issues within Google Analytics. It got a little better but I think for the most part, most marketers just learned to live with the problem.

The problem was brought up at SMX East last week during the Google Keynote and Babak Pahlavan the Senior Director of Measurement & Analytics at Google said they are actively working on the problem.

He said he would like to see more examples but he knows the team does take it seriously and they are devoting resources to it.
