Google Fixes Major Maps Bug on Firefox for Macs

Since March 13th, Google Maps was not showing the time or distance to destination, in the driving directions for users of Firefox on a Mac.

A Google Groups thread has a historical look at the issue. I see that the first reports start on March 13th and then on March 14th Maps Guide Jen, said she will look into the issue.

About a day later it was fixed.

The issue seemed to only happen on Firefox for Mac and was likely just a rendering issue. Personally, not a major search deal at the moment, but I like to document these cases for later.

Forum discussion at Google Groups.
