GoogleBot For Halloween

We've been sharing a few Halloween costumes from the search industry over the past few days and today I wanted to share who GoogleBot dressed up as. As you can see, as a web crawler. Web crawler is an alternative name to what GoogleBot is, a search engine spider or bot, but it is also one of the first search engines, which launched back in April 20, 1994.

Googler thought it would be fun to take a 3D printed GoogleBot and dress it up in a web and call it web crawler. The photo is very fun and clever for Halloween. Kudos.

They posted a really high resolution version on Google+.

This post is part of our daily Search Photo of the Day column, where we find fun and interesting photos related to the search industry and share them with our readers.
