Google Operation Refill

Fumi Yamazaki from Google snapped a picture of a sign near Stan, the Google Dinosaur, named Operation Refill. This is a new campaign at Google to get Googlers to stop using so many single use plastic beverages and start using a bottle that you can refill over and over again.

The sign reads:

If every Googler brought their own reusable bottle to work, how many single-use plastic beverage containers might we save a year? Enough to stretch end-to-end:

(A) Around a dinosaur (B) Here to Shoreline Amphitheater (C) Mexico to Canada (D) Here to Sydney

And you can see Stan no longer is surrounded by flamingos, but rather empty water bottles.

Fumi shared this on Google+.
