Phone Numbers Are Back In The Google Maps Local Listings

Last month, Google removed phone numbers and other information when they launched the new three pack. But over time, Google began adding the data back to the local pack.

Jennifer Slegg first reported that the phone numbers returned the other day. I can confirm, I see the phone numbers back in the local pack.

Linda Buquet in the Local Search Forums added "So if this sticks then we'll really have everything a consumer needs to see in the SERPs without having to click to Local Finder. Category + address + phone + today's either "open at" or "closing" at hours." Indeed.
