Matt Cutts Reminisces About Old SES Events

Jun 10, 2015 - 8:13 am 5 by

matt cutts sesIf you follow Google's Matt Cutts on Twitter, you'd know he is on a mission to clean out all his old files. To my surprise, those files contain old search conference handouts and guides.

He shared on Twitter a picture of the SES San Jose 2003 event that Danny Sullivan managed back in the day and asked Danny if he remembered that Sheryl Sandberg, formerly with Google, now the COO of Facebook, spoke at the event.

Here is the tweet with the image:

Danny said of course he remembers and he also remembers when Google's co-founders Larry & Sergey spoke at the earlier events and Marissa Mayer spoke as well.

Yes, Danny is old. :)

The old days of SEO and the community - that is long past.

I wonder what else Matt Cutts will dig up?
