Old Fashioned Wide Google Under Cover

On Friday, Google's Matt Cutts shared some photos of his spring cleaning of old search conference stuff.

Loren Baker asked Matt Cutts on Twitter if he would attend the conferences before anyone knew who he was. Pre GoogleGuy and Matt Cutts days, when Matt was unknown to the industry.

Matt said on Twitter, "oh yeah." He did do that, as he was vetting himself to jump into the industry. He said "I caught out a few SEOs you've heard of back in the day. :)"

Here are the tweets:

Matt Cutts before anyone knew him would have been an interesting Matt Cutts. Not that he isn't/wasn't interesting after. But years and years of training and experience, I wonder if he ever slipped up and said stuff he should not have. :)
