Google Internship

In the Google webmaster hangout last week, an SEO who is going on a job interview at a really huge web site, a news publisher he said, wanted some advice from Google's John Mueller on how to impress them with his SEO skills. So he asked some questions about how really large sites can do better in the Google rankings.

John goes on to explain to this SEO about technical SEO, concepts around not just page speed but optimizing from crawling, crawl budget, checking to see how fast GoogleBot comes and visits and then indexes and ranks new articles. It is a pretty fun and spot-on SEO conversation.

I figured I'd share it, it kicks off with the question at 32 seconds into the video and lasts for several minutes, well worth watching and listening to. Here is the video:

Good luck on your job interview!
