This morning I woke up to dozens of reverification notices from Google Search Console for dozens of different profiles. Many of them said "New owner for" a specific domain and went on to explain they verified a new owner:

Here is the text:

Google has identified that email has been added as an owner of domain.

Search Console owners have the power to change critical settings that influence the way Google Search interacts with your property. Be sure that only the relevant people have this access, and that they are removed when they no longer need this access.

Google Search Console Reverification

Google is aware of this and John Mueller posted on Twitter that the email notifications are just a bug and there is no need to panic. He said just double check everything is okay by logging in and checking which users have access to your site.

There are tons of forum threads in the Google Webmaster Help on this.

Here is a screen shot a lot of the issues of reverifications in the Google Search Console "verification details" area:

John Mueller also addressed it in the hangout this morning saying:

We had an issue on our side with the verification system where we ended up reverifying a bunch of people for the web site. I think the verification fell out and we had to reverify them again, which because it fell out for a brief period of time, it had to reverify.

So that is where I’d double check the email addresses to make sure some random crazy person. But for the most part, these are probably messages you can ignore.
