The chatter has not really died down, more and more webmasters are speaking up at both WebmasterWorld and Black Hat World amongst other places about search ranking changes at Google.

It is hard to say if it is Panda related, it is probably not Penguin. It might be the hacked sites algorithm or maybe something phantom related - who knows.

But there is a lot of chatter, not at Penguin levels but chatter nevertheless.

The chatter continued through September into October, but here are some quotes from the past few days from those threads:

I also saw some heavy dances. But seems like some websites are improving

i am also seeing some major changes

Since the last update over the weekend, traffic from google is up or steady, Sales are -99%.

All good here so far. Around 10% increase in traffic and 6-7% increase in conversions (8 fairly large affiliate websites).

Like always, there are many saying they saw no ranking changes as well. For one thing, we know Google's search results rankings never remain constant.

Some of the automated tracking tools are showing heavier volatility over the past 24-hours or so.

For more on the past Google updates we've tracked see this category.
