Google Place Pages Links Displaying For Closed Businesses

Pegman Google MapsThis may be a bug or maybe a new feature but Google seems to be bringing back the "Place Page" links in the Google local search results. Most are Google+ page links but for closed businesses, the link seems to say "Place Page."

If so, you are not alone. But no it's not another rebranding fiasco (I hope!) From what I can tell this only happens on Permanently Closed listings. No idea why they would revert back to the old name. People are already confused enough.

Tim Capper spotted this and posted it on Google+ saying "Closed Business Pages, seem to be getting a changed snippet in SERPS to plain Place Page instead of the usual Google+ Page."
