A few days ago, Google released the updated version of the iOS Google My Business App - well for some, that app will not load anymore.
Google is aware of the issue and is working on a fix. Once they fix it, they will submit it to Apple for review and when Apple approves the app, it will be available for automatic download for all business owners.
I do recommend every business owner with a verified Google Business download the app and enable push notifications for reviews. As we described before one of the features sends the business owner notifications of new reviews left on the business profile.
Jade Wang from Google said in the Google Business Help forum:
The new version of the iOS app published on Thursday has not been loading for some users. The engineering team is working quickly to resolve the issue, and we’ll share an update here as soon as the fix is available in the App Store. Thanks to those of you who alerted us, and we apologize for the inconvenience.
