Google Discover Performance Report Missing Data May 7 & May 8

Google had yet another Search Console reporting bug, this time with the Discover performance report. Between May 7, 2026 and May 8, 2026, Google confirmed a data logging issue that can result in the report showing fewer clicks and impressions.

It is a reporting issue only and not a Discover ranking issue or performance issue.

Google wrote:

A logging error is causing a decrease in clicks and impressions for the Discover report from May 7 until May 8, 2026. You may notice a decrease in clicks and impressions in the Discover performance report. This issue affects data logging only.

I assume the data between May 7th and May 8th will remain lost and you will have to just deal with the data being incomplete.

So if you saw a drop in clicks and impressions from Google Discover on May 7th or 8th, this may be why.
