Google Business Profiles Permanently Closed Option Gone?

Google Retail Store

In Google Business Profiles, businesses can go in and mark their business as "Permanently closed." But it seems that option went missing a few days ago. I no longer see it as an option, along with the option to select "temporarily closed" and some others.

This was spotted by Hiroko Imai who posted about this on LinkedIn and he wrote, "In Japan's GBP, the option for a business owner to mark their establishment as "Permanently Closed" has been removed from the dashboard. I'd like to verify whether this same issue occurs in other languages and countries. If the "permanently closed" status cannot be marked from the GBP side, please specify the language and country in question."

Here is what I see:

This is a screenshot from BrightLocal showing the old options that including marking a business as permanently or temporarily closed:

I am not sure if this is a change, a bug or something I am missing.
