When I saw the picture on Sundar Pichai's Google+ post of an Android Statue that was a KitKat, I thought it was some weird joke. I was wrong, it is the code name for the next version of Android, Android 4.4 named KitKat.

I really don't know but according to the BBC, there was no money exchanged by the two brands. Personally, I don't like the move but what do I know about marketing.
