Google is testing replacing the "Show more" button under the AI Overviews with a "Loading..." button. Also, earlier this year, Google tested "Enter AI Mode" for the button text but that obviously did not stick.
This Loading button was spotted by Sachin Patel who posted this screenshot on X and SEW - here is the screenshot:

I tried to replicate it but I was not successful - here is what I see - the Show more button:
I am not sure I like "loading..." for this button but it is better than just forcing searchers into AI Mode.
