Google: MCC AdWords Accounts Not Safe From New Keyword Planner Restrictions

As you know, Google AdWords is restricting the keyword data found within the keyword planner tool for advertisers who have low ad spend. Some thought that MCC (my client center) accounts were immune from this restriction, but that is not true.

Elisabeth from Google said "MCCs can still trigger the limited data view by reaching a limit on the number of searches for search volume data."

Elisabeth said it is rare adding "if an account is under an active MCC, then you will most likely see the full data view." But was clear by saying that MCCs can still not get full data, like any other AdWords account.

Some folks said they would just make their account into an MCC account (which is an account that manages multiple AdWords accounts) but I guess that might not work.
