As we reported last week, Facebook search is expanding into public posts and more. It was just a matter of time for some of the "Black Hat" SEOs to begin thinking, how can we utilize this to make money fast.
A thread at Black Hat World named "Black Hat time: Facebook search engine is live" has the group talking about their excitement to tap into a new, unsuspecting search engine with a large user base.
"It was inevitable," that Facebook would get into search, one Black Hat said. Adding, "Also inevitable: black hat SEO on Facebook." Many in the forum feel Facebook will fail. But only time will tell.
Failure can also mean that black hats ruin it.
If they get search volume, they can always try to hire Matt Cutts. :)
