Every few days or so, I get an email, tweet or mention from someone telling me they found something amazing. Google is showing answers directly in the search box! It is pretty wild to see this in real life, but the truth is, Google has been doing this for years now.

This happens on mobile searches and on desktop searches, for some factual answers. It doesn't happen all the time, in fact, I have maybe seen this myself once or twice. But this has been happening for at least a couple years now.

So if you see it, it is pretty cool, but it is not new.
