Microsoft is testing replacing or renaming the Copilot search tab in Bing Search with the name AI Mode. AI Mode is the name Google uses for its AI search engine, Bing uses Copilot Search, but Microsoft is testing using Google's name here.
We saw Bing doing this previously with AI Overviews, using the name AI Overviews instead of Copilot for the AI responses at the top of the Bing search results.
Now Bing is replacing Copilot Search with AI Mode in the search tab - here is a screenshot:
