- Google Webmaster Tools Search Queries Report Impression & Click Drops
There are several webmasters reporting that their search query report, which now shows impressions and click throughs, is showing a major drop in those impressions and click throughs as of June 2nd and 3rd. The reports come via Google Webmaster Help forums. Google released Street View imagery last night for South Africa. This seemed to have been a priority for the upcoming World Cup tournament. South Africa's soccer stadiums got special attention, including Soccer City in Johannesburg, Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane and Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban. This morning, during my morning research phase for topics for this site, I had to switch up how I find my topics a bit due to the poor coverage with my Verizon MiFi. So I searched for [google webmaster help] and clicked on the link to the "Webmaster Help Forum" within the sitelinks. To my surprise, it took me to the Orkut Help Forums instead of the Google Webmaster Help forums. Here is a picture:
