Matt McGee, Sphinn's editor, announced they have made some changes to Sphinn, the SEM's Digg.

The biggest change that probably impacts the least amount of people, but impacts the most active user base is that they are dropping the membership feature. In the past, you could pay to gain access to a private membership section and have a special icon near your name to show you are a special member. That has been removed because there "wasn't much interest in the idea," said McGee. Existing members will be issued refunds in the upcoming weeks.

Other changes include adding Twitter & Facebook sharing, changing "Upcoming" to "Hot or Not", more rss feed choices, and other changes.
