This week I published the big monthly Google webmaster report, catch up quick there. Google said they hope to bring what they learned with AMP to the open web standards. Google is testing answers in the people also ask box. Google iOS search app upgraded to have iMessage, Safari and drag and drop support. Google Image search now has a product schema filter. Google Posts now works with all major musicians. Google said content publishing frequency is not a ranking signal. Google published another basic SEO snippets video on indexing. Google said moving your site to a new country should not impact the geo-target. Google My business updated their help documents on posting photos. Google’s Gary Illyes is no longer checking Twitter actively. Matt Cutts has lost his wife and the search community is mourning with him. This week the search community honored Brett Tabke, Kevin Indig, Carie Hill, Dan Sharp and Murat Yatagan. That was this past week in search at the Search Engine Roundtable.
