Bing Supports Emoji Search But So Does Yahoo & DuckDuckGo

Bing announced they support searching using Emoji characters, which is incredibly useful (sarcasm) but very cool. It reminds me when SEOs were using Emoji characters to try to boost CTR in the mobile search results.

That being said, Google does not let you search using Emoji characters, but Yahoo (which is powered by Bing) and DuckDuckGo both allow for it as well. Surprisingly, Wolfram Alpha does not.

Here are screen shots of searching for Apple Emoji [Apple] on Google, Bing, Yahoo and DuckDuckGo:

Google Apple

Bing Apple

Yahoo Aple

Duckduckgo Apple

I think DuckDuckGo wins!

How about [ice cream sandwich]?

Bing Ice Cream Sandwhich

Yahoo Ice Cream Sandwhich

Duckduckgo Ice Cream Sandwhich

You can even use combos! Fun but not too useful.
