Google Tesla Model S

Bradley Horowitz, the Google+ executive, must be doing well. Over the weekend, he picked up a new Tesla Model S. The car goes for around $55,000 to $90,000 depending on features.

It is a very geeky car, making it incredibly attractive to well-to-do executives that work in the technology field. Such as Google executives.

Bradley wrote on Google+:

So far, very happy with the car. It's subtly amazing. I'm equally impressed with the driving experience and the more subtle decisions around the human-car interface. For instance, the car has no "on" or "off" (at least not in a way that a user needs to care about.)

The day before he wrote:

Those that know me well will know that despite being born and growing up in Detroit, I'm no car fanatic... (When I was broke in grad school I did learn a bit, by necessity, about how to fix my own car... fair amount of time spent in junkyards. None of this will come in handy with my Tesla however!)

Those that know me well will also know however, that I am a gadget freak. And this car is a gadget with wheels. Albeit a very fast, very fun, gadget with wheels. ;-)

Congrats!
