The new beta Google Glass devices are now out in the explorers hands, I am told a few thousand have them now. That being said, the wear and tear of normal use has shown some weakness in these units.
We've seen cases of broken Google Glass where the frame has snapped. Now we are seeing cases where the foil within the Glass component melts and boils away.
The picture above, is one of many, reported by Google Glass Explorers, where use outside in hot, humid weather for a long period of time, may cause the Glass to melt.
So a tip to Glass users. Bring a cooler bag for your Glass.
