Pamela Lund

This is part of the say something nice about an SEO/SEM series - feel free to nominate someone over here.

Pamela Lund is 38 years old and lives in Orange County, California with her boyfriend for 9 years, CK Chung, who is a local SEO expert. She went to her first SEO and SEM events back when she was 24 years old, attending both Pubcon and SES (Search Engine Strategies).

Pamela Lund not only does PPC and SEM but also is an expert in email, analytics, consulting, and all digital marketing strategies. For the past decade or so, she has been contributing articles at many large and small publishing sites to help her colleagues, both new and old, get smarter and better. She is a whiz at PPC and paid search and has been providing guidance around PPC and marketing tactics for years, as well as giving sound business advice to her friends and colleagues.

She is also known as "That Pam Chick" and is super well respected in our space.

Akvile DeFazio nominated Pam and wrote:

Pamela Lund has been a pillar of the PPC community for over a decade. From being a fantastic resource for all things paid search, she has been helpful, inspiring, and has given back to many on a personal level. I have a bottomless bowl of gratitude for her as she has been my business mentor since I've launched my own agency three years ago, and I owe much of my success to her. Pam is an overall gem and we're fortunate to have her and her expertise in our industry.

Pamela Lund Bio: Pam specializes in digital marketing strategy and management for ecommerce companies. She views marketing as a holistic endeavor that requires all parts of the business to be aligned and therefore provides consulting to mid-size businesses on a wide range of topics that include pay-per-click strategy, email content, analytics implementation, staffing and training, and customer experience.

Favorite thing about the SEO community? My favorite thing about our community is that even though we are all competitors, we’re willing and eager to help each other by teaching, mentoring, and referring business.

One piece of advice to the SEOs out there? Don’t undercharge for your services. If you don’t charge what you’re worth you can’t provide the level of service that your clients deserve which hurts you, your clients, and the reputation of our industry as a whole. Charge more, have fewer clients, and do higher quality work for them. They, and you, will be happier and more successful in the long run.

Favorite things in general? I love to cook for family and friends.

What you want to be known for in the SEO space? I strive to be known as an expert in ecommerce and Shopping campaigns and for being helpful, honest, and no bullshit.
