Google Broken Record

I sound like a broken record but I am once again seeing chatter and signals of yet another Google search ranking algorithm update. This one starting around March 5th and continuing through today. There is chatter in the WebmasterWorld forums and also signs from the various tracking tools.

Keep in mind, I reported Google updates on March 1st, February 27th and February 22nd. So maybe this is the new norm?

Here are some quotes from the ongoing WebmasterWorld thread:

More shuffling going on today in my industry...

same - lots of flux in Finance in the UK.

Seems to be a continuing trend from the update on the 27th, with further updates on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th.

Slight uptick in referrals from goog. But the number of pages people even looking at is in a gutter on our ecom site.

Someone also commented on our last post about an update today:

Today (March 6) another update, again...
