iGoogle Stops Working On iPad

Google iPadThere are well over a hundred complaints in the Google Web Search Help forum that iPad users trying to access iGoogle are taken to Google's home page and not iGoogle page.

The first report came in yesterday and he said:

When I do a search for igoogle, and click on "igoogle," the general search page appears. If I type www.google.com/ig, it still goes to the general search page or home page. I can still access my igoogle homepage on my Dell computer with Internet Explorer.

Soon after, Kelly from Google came in to reassure iPad users that Google is working on a fix. She said:

Thanks for all of your posts. It looks like this is affecting iPad and Android tablet users, which is really helpful to know. My team and I are investigating this issue and I'll report back when I get more info. In the meantime, please continue to update me in the event that something changes.

It seems that this is now resolved for some but there are still people complaining iGoogle is unaccessible on their iPad device.
