Google: We Will Bring Voice Search Analytics To Webmasters

Google Voice Search

Despite Google saying they are not giving webmasters feature snippets analytics, Google did say they will give webmasters analytics on voice search queries related to their own content. Google has said this for over a year and even said it again a couple months ago but still, we wait.

Gary Illyes at SMX Advanced repeated the promise that voice search data will one day be coming to webmasters probably via Google Search Console's Search Analytics report.

The goal is to give webmasters more insight into how searchers are accessing and using their content when they do a voice query on Google. Be it Google Assistant, Google standard voice search, Google Home, etc - webmasters want to know when and how their content is surfacing in that area.

Gary would not give a date on when this would be coming to Google Search Console but he did say it is something they plan on delivering.
