Google is testing showing product cards in the Google Shopping panel on desktop now. The screen shot comes from Dave Lorrez on Twitter who does a lot of SEM in the e-commerce space. Glenn Gabe also thinks it is new, espesially for desktop search results.

When you click on one of this cards it overlays a lightbox of details with more information.
