Google Search Tests Side Bar Filters New Design

Google seems to be testing a new design interface for the Google desktop search results. Here Google is filling in the white space you normally see on the left and right side of the desktop search results with more options. On the left side you see more search filter options and on the right you see related search options, to expand your search.

He said it only works for songs and games but does not work for searches on movies, books, artists, bands. I personally cannot replicate this at all.

This reminds me of some of the older Google search interfaces.
