Google Graduation

Yesterday we reported that Google began directing users by default when they login to Google Search Console to the beta version instead of the old version. Well, several hours after we reported that, Google announced Google Search Console is now out of beta. So that explains it.

Google's header on the new Google Search Console has removed the beta label:

This is what it looked yesterday:

Google still has a link to the old version, which you can also access at or via the link in the sidebar of the new Google Search Console.

Yes, there are still features missing in the new version that still need to be migrated to the new version.

Google is aware of this, they said "We will continue working on moving more reports and tools as well as adding exciting new capabilities to the new Search Console." So stay tuned.

John Mueller from Google confirmed this on Twitter:

I doubt Google will drop access to the old version until they are done with migrating all the features they want in the new version and there is no ETA for when that will be.

As an FYI, Google has been testing the BETA version for well over a year now.
